A.P.F. 90

Protein A.P.F. 90 is an easily digestible, very high-quality animal protein concentrate.

Animal protein is not only vital, it is also indispensable for strong performance in top sport. 
Racing pigeons get about 10% of their energy requirements from protein reserves, which essentially come from the breakdown of muscle tissue, so they lose muscle mass week after week during the racing season. To rebuild these as quickly as possible, muscles need protein. A.P.F. 90 is a natural muscle enhancer, i.e. it has an anabolic effect.
In the racing season, muscle growth occurs primarily during the recovery phase, i.e. at night. Therefore, the administration of A.P.F. 90 is recommended as early as the evening of the race day. After heavier races, the administration of A.P.F. 90 can be extended to 2-3 days.

Other uses:
The growth and performance of pigeons are determined by their genetic material, DNA. The more complete and adapted the diet is, the better the results approach these genetically determined capabilities. A.P.F. 90 should therefore be used especially during the breeding period and moulting. During the nesting phase, the rapidly growing youngsters not only need very high, but also, and above all, very high-quality proteins. Moulting is a particularly stressful phase. The growth of feathers requires almost exclusively protein. Precisely then, it is particularly important to optimally supplement the inferior proteins contained in the feed to prevent moulting damage.
