Electrolit

A mixture of electrolytes and glucose for a quick recovery after the flight.

It is very important to give your pigeons Natural Electrolit when they return from a race. The increased metabolism and the heavy efforts that the pigeon makes during the flight produce a lot of waste products. In order to remove the urea, the uric and phosphoric acid, and the lactic and carbonic acid, the body mainly uses sodium ions. This removal process therefore depends on the amount of sodium ions that the pigeon absorbs. During the flight, the pigeon also loses a lot of body fluid. For these reasons, it is important to give your pigeons Natural Electrolit when they return from a race. This energy drink effectively compensates for the loss of fluid, restores the amount of electrolytes and gradually restores the acid-base balance. The product also immediately increases the energy supply (glucose), which makes the recovery period considerably shorter. Diseases such as adenovirosis and paramyxovirosis cause diarrhoea, which can cause the pigeon to lose a lot of minerals and fluid.
