At the end of the 1990s, Johannes Jakobs was one of the first in Germany to discover the advantage of a high-quality animal and immunoglobulin-rich protein supply in racing pigeons. He first used the term animal protein in pigeon racing.

As the inventor of this modern protein supply, Johannes Jakobs has always pointed out that the animals should be given easily digestible food without peas during the first few days. The addition of Med. Tollyamin Forte (high-dose amino acid) and the high-quality Immunol ensure that the pigeons regenerate quickly. Muscle building is completed after 48 hours and weight loss is quickly compensated.

During the racing season and especially during difficult flights, these pigeons cared for in this way have a decisive advantage in terms of performance. In the past, the Immunol mixture contained unspecified immunoglobulin IgG, which was obtained from colostrum (cow's milk). A new, modern variant of specific immunoglobulin IgY from egg powder has prompted me to decisively improve the mixture.

The new Immunol mixture contains valuable animal proteins from egg powder, which is very rich in Immunoglobulin IgY. Egg powder is a valuable source of animal proteins. It contains a high biological value of 100% and shows an ideal amino acid combination. 

Immunoglobulin serves to support healthy intestinal flora. The avian antibodies in the egg powder, also called IgY (Immunoglobulins from Yolk) are located in the egg yolk. They have an important immune function. The increasing knowledge about the egg antibody leads to a new development of the IgY technology.

In addition to the previously described unspecified antibodies, special egg powders with specific antibodies IgY can also be produced. For this purpose, specific egg antibodies are produced because chickens become hyperimmune through multiple vaccination. The eggs are then collected for the production of egg powder, which is rich in antibodies. The new idea of ​​the specific antibodies IgY for racing pigeons was converted into Immunol with the new egg powder. These specific antibodies IgY have a very high binding capacity and are mainly active in the intestines. This is called the key-lock principle or, in other words, the key must fit into the lock.

The new Immunol is therefore not only a high-quality animal protein mixture but also plays a good role in disease resistance. In addition, Immunol contains Fructo-Oligosaccharide, abbreviated as F.O.S. This forms a protective film on the intestinal mucosa. Beneficial intestinal bacteria use Fructo-Oligosaccharide as food. The only substance that meets all the criteria of an effective prebiotic is Fructo-Oligosaccharide. The third substance in Immunol is whey powder. Whey powder contains vitamins and minerals as well as a good quality of proteins.

The lactose (milk sugar) that is harmful to racing pigeons has been removed from our mixture. Pigeon fanciers often use the bodybuilder product Powerplay for protein supply. This human product, like many others, also contains a lot of lactose. Large amounts of lactose lead to stomach and intestinal complaints or diarrhea in all poultry species. Even in humans, who unlike birds can process milk sugar, there is very often lactose intolerance. Almost 20% of people from Central Europe lose the ability to digest lactose as they get older. Asians and Africans have even more problems with this. The protein of Powerplay cannot be compared with the high-quality protein quality of Tollisan Immunol.

When returning home (flights of old and young pigeons) Dosto-Ropa feed oil 3% together with 10 grams of Immunol over 1 kg of feed.
During breeding, give Immunol two days a week, as described above. But only when young pigeons are in the nest, not when they are brooding, otherwise they will become too heavy.

Give the recently weaned youngsters, who are not yet participating in the flights, Immunol two days a week via the feed as well. It helps to improve the natural resistance.
